Whether you only need a simple Will with outright distributions to your beneficiaries or are looking for something more sophisticated, let us guide you in the right direction.

Because we care about your whole person, all estate plans include the following additional documents as appropriate:

  2. Living Will;

  3. HIPAA Authorization;

  4. General Durable Financial Power of Attorney;

  5. Transfer on Death Deed for your primary home;

  6. Homestead Declaration;

  7. Temporary Guardianship Designations for your minor child; and

  8. Medical Power of Attorney for your minor child.

To ensure you stay organized, we provide each client with an estate planning binder and a USB drive containing a copy of all your documents.

REVOCABLE LIVING TRUSTS

Depending upon your planning goals and assets, a Revocable Living Trust may be the better alternative. If structured correctly, a Revocable Living Trust may offer you benefits that can't be achieved through only a Will. For example, if you own real property in a state other than Montana, a Revocable Living Trust can help you avoid probate in both states.

 OUR PROCESS

Contact us to start your estate plan today. We will schedule a free-initial intake meeting with our attorney and send you an intake worksheet to fill out so we can best achieve your goals. During the meeting, our attorney will review your worksheet, discuss your goals, and let you know what the fixed fee will be. If you decide to move forward, we will schedule your estate plan signing within 4-6 weeks of you returning your signed agreement and retainer.
